My Culture Poem

NA NOGO MATAVUVALE

I am a Fijian girl

proud of my ancestors

When I see the stars in the sky,

they are my ancestors in

       heaven

I have grown up

    To be a warrior and to look

   after myself

I love and care for my family

I gain courage from them

I am happy to be in this

family

I have no fear but I have joy.
